The first LED Instrument design is to test long wave fluorescent of the Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds and Synthetics with a principal wavelength of 365nm (BLB Blacklight Blue) and short wave separate diamond from simulants, sapphire and emerald from synthetics, ruby from garnet, and natural gems from glass/synthetic spinel. The black box type transmitted light on top with black appearing surface of LED long and shortwave UV light. It is stable, reliable and easy to operate. This light has two light sources, one for Short Wave (256nm) and the other for Long Wave (365nm), both lights can be used individually or together for best results
